“This battle is oft uphill, but the view from the top is amazing!”
This comment was left on yesterday’s post by moodyinseattle. I was debating whether or not I would do a post today, but I was inspired by the words.
Losing weight is like climbing a mountain. Your goal is to make it to the top (your ultimate goal weight). However, things can often get in the way (temptations, binging, giving up). I’ll admit that, in the past, I have let whatever I could get in the way. I would make excuses for myself; reasons why I couldn’t do it. No more! It’s time to forget of all the reasons I tell myself I can’t, and focus on the reasons that I can! I’m finally in a place where I can take control of my own life, of my decisions, of my weight.
As someone who is blessed enough to live in an area that is surrounded by mountains, I have climbed quite a few in my day. The view once you get to the top truly is amazing. It gives you a whole new perspective on the world. Everything changes.
It’s going to be a battle for sure, but my goal is to get to the top of this mountain.

Very good image! The journey get so steep sometimes that we have to make sure we look down to see how much we have climbed up already
